Meet Jordan
Brain Injury & Advocacy Background
"Your wound may not be your fault, but your healing is your responsibility."
– Dennis Lehane
In June 2023, after just one session of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) (though she was encouraged to go 2 more times), Jordan sustained a traumatic brain injury without loss of consciousness. She wasn’t formally diagnosed with depression or anxiety but was told TMS could help “calm an overactive amygdala.” Instead, the treatment triggered immediate and lasting neurological symptoms — visual disturbances, memory loss, overstimulation, and cognitive dysfunction.

Jordan has had a wellness blog since 2020, but after her injury, her focus shifted to documenting her TBI recovery and advocating for others harmed by psychiatric interventions. Along the way, she discovered hundreds of others with similar experiences — often dismissed or denied support.

To help break the silence, Jordan founded r/TMSinjuries, a support community for those affected by TMS harm. She continues to write, speak, and create content that validates unseen injuries and brings awareness to overlooked risks in mental health treatment.
Jordan’s mission is to support healing through truth-telling, community, and nervous system awareness — and to ensure no one feels alone in the aftermath of medical harm.

Yoga Background
"Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself"
- Rumi
Jordan first began learning yoga from a DVD in New York City and then, shortly after, in 2014, obtained her 200-hour yoga certification at Gaia Flow Yoga, a studio centrally located in Dallas. There, she learned about posture and alignment, anatomy and physiology, Ayurveda, Sanskrit and an overall deeper connection with one's mind and body. She has taught in TX, SC, GA and WA.
Throughout the years, Jordan has delved into different trainings, such as Yin Yoga with Josh Summers, Goddess Yoga Training with Sianna Sherman and Yoga Nidra Meditation through Amrit Institute. As a result of these different trainings and her own spiritual endeavors like meditation and reading books about the teachings of yoga, she greatly enjoys sharing these philosophies and lessons with every yogi that she crosses paths either through discussion or weaving them into her classes.
Massage Background
"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." - Ghandi
Jordan studied massage therapy at Therapeutic Connections School of Massage in Spokane, WA where she learned human anatomy and physiology, musculoskeletal, pathology and technique as well as an introduction to various modalities. She also developed a deep spiritual connection through the power of touch and personal energies.

During massage school, Jordan took a continuing education course in Ashiatsu, and fell in love with the deep, therapeutic touch the modality provided for herself and her clients. Jordan completed her barefoot training with DeepFeet Bar Therapy, and is continuing her education to be a Master DeepFeet Therapist.

Since graduating massage, Jordan has also completed the first level of craniosacral therapy, a light touch to influence the body's natural healing processes. Through this training, Jordan has been able to deepen her understanding of the human body, and experience the healing power of touch. She has become more in-tune with her own spiritual connection through being more grounded, calm, and intentional with her approach to massage, which she enjoys sharing with her clients, even outside of craniosacral therapy.
